About Teen Entrepreneur Academy

Teen Entrepreneur Academy (TEA) is a Non Governmental Organisation in Nigeria that seeks to teach teenagers about business.

The Academy organizes business classes for teenagers with the hope that they would become business owners in future.

TEA was found by Adeola Babatunde in 2014. She is a woman passionate about helping people succeed in business. She is also a Life Coach and Psychologist. She runs her training and consulting firm in Lagos Nigeria where she lives with the love of her life and their adorable son, David.
Adeola believes that in the right environment, seed will grow. With the right environment Nigerians will succeed in business and her way of creating the right environment is Teen Entrepreneur Academy, a non-profit organisation. An academy that teaches teenagers about business, mentors them and gets them on a network of other business owners, investors and angels.
“With this kind of platform, we increase the chances of Nigerians succeeding in business, reduce unemployment and strengthen the middle sector and the Nigerian economy”

Why Teenagers?
“Why not “, I ask. Teenagers are smart and full of energy! They can afford to make some business mistakes at this age where families are not totally dependent on them. They also have brilliant ideas that can turn into big business. “They are succeeding all around the world e.g. facebook (Mark Zuckerberg), why should Nigerian teenagers be left out”?
